why i am using blogger

I guess you can say it's because I'm old school and I wanted to support. Yet at the same time I'm a newb. It's not like how we used to code for Asian Avenue back in the day. 😂

Back then I was supposed to major in graphic design but I decided not to go that route. And most of all the blogs I've ever read before, back in the day were on Blogspot and I told myself that I would make one someday when the day came. Hey, better late than never. 😅

But it's been such a long time now and I'm so rusty. I bought my own domain through Google, which also owns Blogger/Blogspot. I was surprised it was even available, being difficult, I wanted a name for myself that best represented me that also sounded artful, creative and inventive in a sense.

I know that there's all these new services like Squarespace, Wix, WordPress which all have very beautiful themes and layouts but I didn't want to buy a monthly service fee just to maintain my website.

I know some of them even come free like Blogger but I figured it's the platform I wanted to use and I didn't need a fancy website because I'm just blogging so Blogger had a simple, clean, minimalist theme and layout that works for me.

I'm still playing around with it as I am fresh so who knows, maybe it'll get bigger, I'll get better, become more skillful and I can expand my horizons later on. Thanks for following me on this journey! Let's see how I can grow from this point. 😉
