thanks to tabacón, i lived my anime fantasy
Probably the most random post but yes, thanks to Tabacón, I don't know why I'm realizing it now or if I forgot but I got to live my childhood anime fantasy. Growing up, I would watch Toonami on the Cartoon Network with my siblings. And I loved watching Tenchi Muyo! Because it was full of fantasy, like how a cabbit (a cross between a cat and rabbit) Ryo-Ohki can shapeshift into a space ship lol.
My fondest memory of an Anime scene was this when Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo! Episode 5, created a floating tropical hot spring oasis. There goes me, a kid dreaming again. When I first saw it, I was in complete awe and thought to myself, I wanted that. And I actually got to live it but better. I've been to the hot springs in Colorado, to the onsen in Hakone which was incredible experience and memory. I would love to try more onsens in Nippon.
But nothing beats living my anime fantasy at Tabacón. And at the end as Ryoko says, "now this is what I call heaven on Earth." I was surprised, I didn't even remember her saying that because that's what I've been saying about Tabacón. Pura Vida. 💖
